Ingredients
- Hard cheese 100 g
- Feta 100 g
- Cream cheese 230 g
- Fresh parsley 6 sprigs
- Dried garlic ⅔ tsp spoons
- Capers 1½ tbsp spoons
- Salt to taste
- Peanuts to taste
- Crackers to taste
- Olives 1½ tbsp spoons
- Gherkins 1½ tbsp spoons
Cooking method
-
Grate hard cheese and mix with feta and cream cheese, chopped herbs, dried garlic and capers.
Capers can be substituted with chopped olives or pickled gherkins.
-
Stir everything until smooth and taste the finished mass. Add salt if the salinity of the cheeses is not enough for you, add more garlic if you decide to make the most spicy snack possible.
-
Place the mixture on a sheet of cling film and shape the mixture into a ball using a silicone spatula or spoon.
-
Now the snack needs to be in the refrigerator for at least two hours. During this time, the cheese mass will cool enough to hold its shape, and the flavors of the ingredients will open and combine.
-
Use a knife or rolling pin to chop the nuts without turning them into dust. Dip the cheese ball in peanuts and serve with crackers or toast, sprinkle with parsley on top.
