Crispy baked potatoes
Miscellaneous / / December 31, 2020
This is the perfect way to bake potatoes in the oven. It turns out rosy and crispy on the outside and surprisingly soft and airy on the inside.
Wash and dry each potato well, then boil until half cooked in salted water.
Watch the cooking process to avoid overcooking the tubers, but easily crush them before baking. About 15-20 minutes on the fire should be enough.
In the meantime, preheat the oven to 220 degrees and combine the oil with the minced garlic cloves.
You can add any spices to such a mixture: Provencal herbs, paprika, hot peppers, coriander, Worcestershire sauce or tabasco.
When the potatoes are boiled, crush the tubers with a fork or a puree press. Be careful not to break the potatoes into pieces.
Brush everything with garlic oil, sprinkle with pepper, thyme and a little salt.
Place the potatoes on a parchment-lined baking sheet and place in the oven for 18–20 minutes. The chunks should be dry, crispy and golden on the outside.
Serve potatoes immediately. You can garnish with sour cream, herbs and fried bacon.
