The announcement of the restart of the animated series "Beavis and Butt-head"
News Cinema / / December 30, 2020
how reports The Hollywood Reporter, a cultural phenomenon from MTV called Beavis and Butt-Head, will be back soon - though this time on Comedy Central. We are not talking about a remaster or re-screening: the channel has ordered two new seasons at once and is already planning upcoming spin-offs and special episodes.
The new version of the animated series will be dedicated to the "world of generation Z", and the creators will try to make humor understandable and attractive for both new viewers and longtime fans. Speaking of the creators: the "father" of the animated series, Mike Judge, will be the producer and scriptwriter of the project, and will also voice both the main characters.
Interestingly, this announcement happened just 10 days after Comedy Central was told about the work over "Jody" - a spin-off of the animated series "Daria", which, in turn, was an offshoot of "Beavis and Butt-head. "
