Recently online leaked a draft of the script for the ninth episode of Star Wars, written by Colin Trevorrow - the film was called Duel of Fates and was very different from the final version of Abrams. It not only tried to better complete the stories of individual characters, but also planned to use a different antagonist. Now, on Twitter, photos of the official artbook have appeared, which have confirmed the veracity of the previous leak and showed what this villain could look like.

According to the script, Kylo Ren found a hologram that Palpatine recorded for Vader (apparently before the latter betrayed and killed him). The message states that Vader must complete his training with the Sith Master Thor Valum, who once trained the Emperor himself. The hero is described as a spider-like monster in Lovecraft style. And the artbook concepts do show a spider-like creature sitting on the head of some dead animal.
Although to fans Trevorrow's script did seem like a more successful ending to the saga than “Skywalker. Sunrise", The design of Thor Valum raises serious doubts. One gets the feeling that they are trying to show us "Yoda from the Sith": another strange alien who teaches us how to use the Force somewhere in the jungle.
