Apple may bring Face ID to new MacBook and iMac

Apple intends to expand the range of devices that will support Face ID biometric scanning. This is evidenced by patent company indicating that the technology may appear in new iMac and MacBook.
The Face ID module will act as a biometric scanner that allows you to log in to websites and access your accounts in various services and applications.
In a patent application, the module is located at the top of the display. Visually, this neckline resembles a "monobrow" - as in iPhone X. Although in the final product Apple is unlikely to implement the system that way. Projection sensors are likely to fit on the bezel, just like the iPad Pro.
It is worth noting that not all patent applications are being implemented in real life, but in this case, the introduction of Face ID in new devices is quite an expected solution. A similar practice has already happened with the Touch ID feature.
