Educational Program Cinema / / December 28, 2020
The story of the charming lord of hell is coming to an end. The plot of the series is based on the comic book series of the same name by writer Neil Gaiman and artist Sam Keith, created for the publishing house Vertigo. The main character is Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), the ruler of the underworld. Tired of his duties, he moved to Los Angeles, where he runs the Lux club.
Meeting detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) changes his life. The hero decides to help the police officer in investigations. At the same time, the forces of Lucifer do not act on Chloe, and he himself becomes vulnerable next to her. Of course, over time, it turns out that they met for a reason.
When will Lucifer season 5 come out?
The release of Lucifer was fraught with problems. After the third season, Fox decided to close the project, showing two final episodes. Then the fans created a petition and collected thousands of signatures for the extension of their favorite series. As a result, the project moved to Netflix, receiving a shortened fourth season of 10 episodes.
Shortly after its release, the streaming service announced that the series would return in 2020 for another season, which will be its final.

Is there a trailer for the 5th season of "Lucifer"
Netflix has yet to release promo materials for its fifth season. But TV presenter Kelly Clarkson visited the set of the series and shared a video about the work on the project. By the way, in it Tom Ellis said that the season can be divided into two parts, eight episodes each.
Also between the seasons, the main character of the series appeared in a small cameo in the Arrow Universe crossover called Crisis on Infinite Lands.
What to expect from the continuation
Beware, the text contains spoilers for the fourth season of "Lucifer". If you are not ready to know them, read our article on the best detective series.
Details of the plot, of course, were not disclosed. But you can already make some assumptions. In the previous season finale, Lucifer realized that Chloe had been his first true love all this time. And this meant that Kinley's prophecy should come true and on Earth will begin Apocalypse. To save humanity, Lucifer voluntarily returns to hell. There, the events of the fifth season will begin.
The series' writers regularly post episode titles on Twitter. And the first episode was titled "Really Sad Devil Guy."

Obviously, Lucifer will be going through a breakup with Chloe. No further developments have been reported yet.
It is also curious that the tenth episode of the final season is planned to be made real musical. It was called "Bloody Sky Karaoke".
