During the presentation of the Daimler car company at CES 2020 James Camerondemonstrated concept art "Avatar 2". These images should give an idea of what to expect from the new film.
As you can see, the general style will remain the same, but the locations will be even brighter, with an abundance of water and tropical landscapes.
James Cameron added that the film will feature even more different creatures that inhabit Pandora, as well as vehicles and other equipment.
These images were shown for a reason as part of the Daimler presentation, because as part of the same announcement, Mercedes-Benz showed the incredible Vision AVTR concept car. According to company representatives, the car is inspired by the world of Avatar.
Vision AVTR is a demonstration of the unity of man and machine. The car can read the pulse and respiration of the passenger, adjusting the lighting and vibration of the seats for them. On the rear window there are bionic flaps that can be smoothly extended, imitating breathing and various gestures.
In addition, the AVTR has extremely unusual wheels that allow the car to move even sideways. At the same time, there is no traditional steering wheel in the cabin, instead there are touch panels and huge curved displays.
As for the driving characteristics, only the power of the electric motors up to 470 hp and the mileage of up to 700 km without recharge are declared.
Of course, the Vision AVTR is just a concept car, which is not planned to be mass-produced yet. Accordingly, prices and the possibility of buying a car are out of the question. The very same "Avatar 2" is released worldwide on December 17, 2021.
