Puffs with strawberries and cream cheese

Ruddy puffs with aromatic strawberries and delicate cream will not leave anyone indifferent. Dessert can be prepared in just half an hour.

Ingredients
- Puff pastry 2 sheets
- Frozen strawberries 10 berries
- Cream cheese 170 g
- Sugar or honey 2 tbsp spoons
- Vanilla sugar, essence or rum 1 sachet
- Egg yolk 1 piece
- Water 2 tbsp. spoons
Cooking method

Defrost the puff pastry and berries and turn on the oven. Whisk a packet of cream cheese with a couple tablespoons of regular sugar and a packet of vanilla.
The sweetener can be replaced with honey, and instead of vanilla sugar, add essence, a teaspoon of rum or other flavoring.
You can just make square puffs. But if you have time, roll out the dough into a rectangle (its thickness should be about 3 millimeters) and cut the edges with a herringbone, without cutting through the middle.

Put a spoonful of cheese over the whole area of the dough, followed by a few pieces of strawberries.
You can use any other berries or fruits.

Lay the dough strips on top of each other one at a time to create a pigtail. Blind the top and bottom of the rectangle tightly.

Brush the surface of each puff with egg yolk, beaten with a couple of tablespoons of water.

Bake the strawberry puffs for 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 210 degrees.
