What do you do in your work?

Currently my main project - education of a seven-month daughter. Most of the time I give it to Varvara. In my spare time I manage to write in Twitter.

In his spare time, lead to the soul's blog "Five pages of ..." and is responsible for coordinating collective blog "Read Only". This is my main job at the moment. In limbo video are now! "Good morning, Moscow!"Internet-shop and bookstore service (which I plan to do in the end of January).

How does your workplace?

Certain jobs or the space I have not got. Although the house has a big computer and two laptops. Large stands and gathering dust in recent years, using it only for video processing and storage of information. A laptop that traveled with me in Kiev and Riga, we are sitting with his wife all the time (I spent most).

With a laptop I can sit in a chair or on the floor when not busy with the baby. Wires have to hide - Barbara very much want for their little hands cling or bite his two teeth. All are not reached to set up the router and get rid of at least the network cable.

Still there is a video camera - it is used for shooting home chronicles, travel and podcasts.

What hardware are using?

Notebook: Acer Aspire 5100 15.4 inch display; dual-core AMD Turion with 512 MB of RAM, the hard drive is small, only 80 GB - for everyday tasks is enough.

Desktop: Acer Aspire M1100; AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core processor 4600+, 2,4 Ghz, RAM - 2 GB hard to 300 GB. Monitor 19 inches from Nec was still on the old computer, now abandoned configuration.

Camcorder Samsung Progressive HD (VP-HMX10C) with built-in flash memory of 8 GB - Convenient and compact, satisfied in all respects.

Some unusual keyboards or keypads I do not have, in that sense, I do not turn on the piece of iron. I can make do with what is at hand - a netbook or a hammer.

Phone me (and my wife) - Nokia 5800 ExpressMusic. Most of the phones I've used, it was from the Finnish manufacturer; was once Alcatel OneTouch 525.

Why Nokia? Like, I'm comfortable.

What software use?

On the laptop is worth the good old Windows XP SP3, it was complete and has not changed (although a couple of times reinstalled). On the desktop - Vista SP1 - was also included; thought it "kill" did not arise, raises no objections and it was even easy to use. Fundamental need to move on to "Seven" for myself I do not see, so long as everything remains as it is.

Office suite is: laptop - OpenOffice, Desktop - MS Office 2007. Although in recent years, if something you want to print, I turn to google Docs. Text editor for myself, I chose PSPadWho knows how to work with HTML and PHP, and even support for FTP connection.

On all systems, browsers are set by default FireFox; periodically used Chrome and Opera less, while on the laptop until recently was the default is "chrome" (and he often uses his wife Kate). The main messenger we have is QIP Infium (Launch day); also we use from time to time Skype.

Customers to check mail or working with Twitter is not. Somehow do not like, and for some reason I was not comfortable with them. With mail I work online and for online use Twitter clients like Tweetree or Brizzley. Notes use EvernoteAnd for tasks - Remeber The Milk; but it is not very active.

Of the programs, which have often used - μTorrent (Clear why), for burning CDs - simple and elegant SCDWriter, Webmoney Classic Keeper, we watch movies usually GOM Player (Rarely in the Media Classic Player or through the dvd-player on the 62-inch LCD-TV). Far Manager still have to work with FTP, Windows Live Writer for blogging, Nokia PC Suite to use with the phone.

Is there a place in your paper work?

Paper in my work is still there - it's a book. In addition to using the Moleskine creative entries, also for simple and quick recordings (menu and schedule for the child, the various phones, etc.), there is a regular notebook on a spring. Houses do not print, but if necessary, the printer's performance can make use of his wife - the last thing it typed were popular nursery rhymes for Barbarians.

Is there a dream configuration?

I want to be more mobile. Actually, it is enough to set up WiFi-point, to combine all of the computers and phones in one network (probably will use more and Live Mesh); you need a couple of cables and adapters (for example, vga-hdmi), to get rid of the discs and all. And I have enough capacity.
