Paragraphs - is a text editor, which is made in accordance with the latest trends. What I mean? The almost complete lack of tools for working with text, simplicity, minimum distractions and a nice interface. I am a fan of these applications, and until recently enjoyed iA Writer. But after the appearance of Evernote-client Alternote I decided to go for it. Should I drop everything and try Paragraphs?

When writing, you will not see anything but the text itself. Here remains a blank sheet, and user interface elements appear only if you drive the mouse on the application. Print so convenient, especially in full screen mode. The entire computer screen - it's your work area, and there is no single thing that can distract you. But what in this case, to pay the money? It is for what.

Firstly, for the night mode. Nice color and do not irritate the eyes. Secondly, for easy export. The text can be saved as TXT, Markdown or HTML. And I repeat again: for the look. Perhaps only I was attracted to such a simple and convenient application. But for convenience it decided to pay and here you get it.

Unfortunately, it was not without a minus. Paragraphs does not work with the Cyrillic alphabet. Of the four fonts offered Russian version there is only one. The second on the left, if you start to look for it. For the same reason it is not working the counter showing the number of words in the text. He believes only English words.

I asked the developer about his plans for the support of the Cyrillic alphabet. As long as they do not, but he said that he will listen to the wishes. Therefore Paragraphs today, despite its merits, not worth the money. Will Cyrillic - the situation will change.
