Research firm Kantar Worldpanel, dealing in including an analysis of the global mobile market, published the fresh data regarding the dynamics of sales in the division of shares between the major mobile device manufacturers worldwide.
Recall that the last time Kantar Worldpanel presented schedule, according to which the 12-week Between August and October iOS-devices could regain supremacy in the share of total sales of smartphones USA. Then Apple products accounted for 48.1% of all smartphones sold against 46.7% for Android.
At the same time, Dominic Sannebo, director of global consumption monitoring department in the company, suggested a further increase in the share of Apple products among all sold mobile devices, with forecasts of its results should be even better than the previous peak of 49.3%, which was achieved during the start of sales iPhone 4S. It is obvious that such a forecast is based on the pace of sales and demand for the iPhone 5.
Published data for September-November, confirmed the assumption: Now apple smartphones make up 53.3% of the total sold in the US during that time similar devices.
Naturally, the transition of 50% is a powerful psychological argument, and analysts predict a further increase in the proportion of all Apple smartphones sold in the near future devices.
If we move away from the United States market, here for Apple is not so rosy. Europe buys Android. Over the past year on the European market Apple gained only 2.5% of the total share of 25.3%, while Android has added 9.2% and confidently holds 61% of the market. Moreover, if we take the individual countries, including some outside Europe, the apple products in them losing ground. This is the case in Brazil, Australia, Spain and Italy.
