basic commands
Let me remind you about some keyboard shortcuts should be remembered everyone who on iPads or iPhones works in any program via the Bluetooth-keyboard:
- command+Z - Undo
- command+shift+Z - redo actions
- command+FROM - copy the selected fragment data
- command+X - cutting the selected chunk
- command+V - pasting data from the clipboard
- command+A - the allocation of the entire data set (text)
- command+delete - removal of the piece of the current line to the left of the cursor
- option+delete - the removal of the word, located immediately to the left of the cursor
- delete - Delete the character to the left of the cursor
Housekeeping tip. Note that deleting text fragments located on right of the cursor by pressing the keys fn+deleteUnfortunately, it does not work in iOS. In general, as far as we can judge, the key

- command+arrow to down - Moves the cursor to the end of the text
- command+left arrow - Moves the cursor to the beginning of the current line
- command+right arrow - Moves the cursor to the end of the current line
- option+left arrow - Moves the cursor to the beginning of the previous word
- option+right arrow - Moves the cursor to the beginning of the next word
- up arrow - Moves the cursor to the line-up
- arrow to down - Moves the cursor to the bottom line
- left arrow - Moves the cursor left one character
- right arrow - Moves the cursor one character to the right
Housekeeping tip. How and when working at the computer, add keys shift to the above navigation keys allow to translate the text cursor with the simultaneous release of the fragment between the initial and final position of the cursor. However, it should be remembered that the selection is removed if you happen to press the key combination, for example, to move to the beginning of the document to check the text entered above. To save a selection, scroll text on the screen with your fingers.
remembering emacs
When working with text on iOS-device can use keyboard shortcuts to which users are accustomed family emacs editor:
- control+A - Moves the cursor to the beginning of the line
- control+E - Moves the cursor to the end of the line
- control+B - Moves the cursor back one character
- control+F - Moves the cursor forward one character
- control+H - delete character left of the cursor
- control+K - removal of the fragment to the right of the cursor line
- control+M - Insert a new empty row
multimedia keys
- F1 - reducing the brightness of the screen
- F2 - increase screen brightness
- F7 - go to the previous track (back to the beginning of the current track); hold keys lead to rewind the current track
- F8 - Play / Pause
- F9 - go to the next track; retention of key lead to rewind the current track
- F10 - Mute
- F11 - the volume reduction; Hold button will instantly lower the volume to zero (not to be confused with the F10 key function)
- F12 - Sound
- eject (⏏) - show / hide the onscreen keyboard
interface commands
- tab - transition to the next text field (e.g., when filling the registration form)
- shift+tab - Go to the previous text box
- control - pause / resume the voice tracking system (provided that the function has been incorporated in VoiceOver iOS parameters)
- command+space - the transition to the next keyboard layout
- shift+command+space - Go to the previous keyboard layout
