Villain of the week: Rodion Raskolnikov

From the Editor: We present to you a series of articles about real and fictional villains. We think that they have something to learn, if we discard the labels that they decided to hang up. Believe me, no one is out of focus, not obsessed with not motivated to act, but the present tough villain. We start with Rodion Raskolnikov.

This brutal crime was committed by a person with "great heart", a hero and a humanist of his time - Rodion Raskolnikov.

If you think that "the murderer" - the last person who should take an example, you are deeply mistaken. There are at least three things that would be nice to learn from Raskolnikov.

1. The ability to resist fate

But, following the route of "school - vocational school - the army - mortgage", it is difficult not to become a "loathsome creature."
All deserve a better life. And it can achieve. The only question in the media.
Raskolnikov them clearly miscalculated. But it should be respected at least for the fact that he does not put up with the fate inscribed. He wanted to get out of the swamp of poverty, knowing that, having money, he can achieve a lot, and goodness when - and even much help.

2. Faithful to his ideals

Who now boast their own, special, philosophy? Many people do not even have the sense to it to take other people's ideals; about the production of their own - and say nothing.

Acute inquisitive mind led Raskolnikov to the theory of "strong personalities." Note: no little thought, but a real social and philosophical doctrine. He hated her, as a child, articulated (written for her based on an article in the magazine) and checked.

Your inner sun he did not hide - neither harshness nor sullenness. Generosity and nobility could read in his eyes. People (such as Sonia and Razumihin) stretched to Raskolnikov - it was not like the others. Preserve individuality, you do not belong to whatever social group - another trait that he need to learn.
