But there will be four models in the lineup.
Renowned analyst Min-Chi Kuo in new report writesthat Apple will ditch the 5.4-inch iPhone in 2022. The ultra-compact solution will be replaced by the exact opposite - a large smartphone with a 6.7-inch screen.
The final 5.4-inch model will be the potential iPhone 13 mini, scheduled for this year. It, along with three other new products, will be released in the fall.
In 2022, four smartphones will also be released: two basic ones with 6.1 and 6.7 inches screens and two Pro versions with the same diagonals. It turns out that instead of an affordable compact solution, Apple will offer an affordable giant smartphone for the first time.
Formerly Kuo wrotethat in 2022 Apple may also move from "bangs" to holes in the screen, as in many modern Android smartphones. Such holes can appear in the Pro versions, and with sufficiently high production volumes in more affordable basic iPhones. In addition, a new iPhone SE may be released in 2022, which will retain the classic design with the Touch ID button on the bottom bezel.
