Counter of unread messages in the Favicon

Like many users Gmail service, I often keep my mailbox is open all the time. Despite the fact that I have to wean themselves from this habit, when you consider that the box is now, and calendar, and a list of tasks and messaging tool, it is not so unnatural - to keep Gmail open. But free screen space, I also appreciate and use of FaviconizeTab, which turns the whole tab at the elegant icon, freeing others. But in this connection there is another problem - you can not see if you have mail, and whether it is a short message, but it is not so convenient. But today I came across a solution to this problem.
Gmail FavIcon Alerts - Greasemonkey script that not only shows the number of unread messages in your Inbox (and not only there, if you have moved to another label / folder), but also indicates the arrival of an instant message - an envelope on the icon becomes orange.
On the one hand - do not miss messages when ready to communicate with the other - not so much a distraction from work, as the same pop-up notification.
Script works wherever Firefox runs with established additions Greasemonkey.
