Replace one other part of the system - the prerogative of the user with the green robot "on board". Most of them are "sharpened" for themselves their Androids at the first opportunity: new launcher, another browser, custom firmware, Innovative keyboard... The list of changes can be overwhelming, and change in the system of absolutely everything he wants, "Andrew", with due skill It allows. The iOS is no such lawlessness. From the fact that it does not allow Apple or all are satisfied - is another matter, but the standard applications and elements of the system in the vast majority no one touches. But it happens that the developers just are eager to something to remake in his own way, and still produce something that supposed to replace a standard element of the system.
We are not talking about the various Service applications, "reminders" or iPods. It's all much more serious: an alternative keyboard. Such full of androids and a couple of them are really easy to use, but for iOS - it is something new.
A few days ago renewed Fleksy application designed to replace the standard keyboard from Apple. Winning is a standard element of system developers are going to comfort and ergonomics. Let's see if they had it.
The new, third version was added to the Russian language, which is why the app was interesting for Russian-speaking users. Foreign publications Fleksy praise and sing praises vying who in that much. But the Russian edition more restrained in his reviews, and for good reason. In the Russian version of the dictionary application is quite limited, so you can wait for the correct autocorrect misspelled words. "Get" five times out of ten. But for the more accurate "strikes", Fleksy can be linked to your Facebook account and Twitter, by analyzing the style of writing in which the application will adjust to the user's way of communicating. And it really works. Sometimes I wondered why, where the application knows the words, forgetting that I have two accounts on social networks are connected.
Entry process itself is quite standard: have keyboard layout, from which cut out some buttons, thus they have increased in size. The calculation is that if you do not hit on the right button when writing the whole word Fleksy select suitable. Therefore, instead of writing "Hello" is something like "Rivkt", it can be expected that the application will understand you correctly. In fact - no. At least for the Russian language. But do not worry, you can replenish the dictionary manually. That's just it you want?
The application supports gestures, which you need to get used to. For example, by entering a word completion, swipe to the right you will make a space, swipe to the left to remove it. In order to get to the punctuation, you may have a couple of times tap on the icon with symbols and numbers. And to change the language, you can do only through the adjustment.
And most importantly: Fleksy does not replace the standard keyboard, and runs as a standalone application. From the most simple actions that you can perform with it, is to send Email-messages, iMessage, post to Twitter or Facebook, and... everything.
Of course, for the expansion of Fleksy functionality and can make friends with other applications, but only those who are supported. One of the first was the Launch Center, which gave impetus to the development of alternative iOS-keyboard. All such applications about fifty pieces, but from the entire list I have not found anyone that might be useful to me. Most likely, the majority of them are not useful to you.
Are you ready to run a separate application for the sake of sending a letter or message, even if it works perfectly and when entering text is not necessary to look at the screen? Or is it a standard keyboard is more convenient and intuitive, and such application shall remain fans of Android-smartphone? Share your opinion in the comments. You do "for" something that Apple has allowed to change the keyboard, or strongly against?
