How to use the "travel time" on your calendar and the Mavericks never late

Calendar - an indispensable tool in planning cases. The latest version of OS X Mavericks Calendar got a new and very useful feature for which you may not even suspect.

Travel time - is the name of a new, optional, when adding a new event to the calendar. As it turned out, it is very convenient "feature" of the updated calendar.

Open the application and create a new event. Give it a name and look at the line below - Add location. In this line, you must add the address where the event will be assigned.
Then, as usual, select the time of your meeting or conference. Just below you'll notice a new line of "travel time" - this is the very handy feature. Depending on your location, the app will show how many will take the road from your present position to the place of the scheduled meeting.
Accordingly, you can configure notifications calendar more flexible, for example, to work out a reminder five minutes before the start of the trip. Agree, very cool!

If you look to the bottom of events produced by us, we can see that, along with the destination there was a small thumbnail map with a marked destination. Clicking on it will open the full application "Maps" on OS X already paved the route from your location to the specified event in the destination. Of course, paved the route can be immediately sent to your iPhone and ready to leave.
