PDF - one of the main electronic document formats - currently a very popular tool for the exchange of information in the main graphic types. The documents are in PDF format so that it was impossible to add anything to his source material - it can serve as a kind of data protection. To view these files using a free program from Adobe - Acrobat Reader. But among this kind of software has its competitors, such as the "hero" of our review - PDF Creator X.Chem as good before us the product compared to the standard Acrobat Reader? Yes to all! If you are familiar with the official app from Adobe for Mac, you probably noticed that the performance had obvious problems. And, frankly, too, leaves much to be desired interface program. No matter how much I tried, and could not come to terms with the permanent "brake" in the interface.
Looking into the Mac App Store, in order to find some alternative, I was surprised there multifaceted software enough, the price tag is different, and the estimates are not so much, that on their basis it was possible to select a suitable program. However, my eyes fell on a simple PDF Reader X title with a price tag "Free" and a good estimate (albeit based on the opinions of a total of five persons). Of course, at first I was not sure that this is exactly what I was looking for. Indeed, judging by the name, it could be another failed crafts from developers, nestled somewhere in the middle of India. But "for free vinegar and sweet", so I decided to try. And not lost.
It's good enough to cope with its functions to cope. But as you know, everything is relative, and if you compare PDF Reader X product from Adobe, the application is really great. Although it is only just doing his job.
Among the interesting features include, for example, work in full screen mode (Hi, Adobe) and work with the text: it is possible to select, underline, or add your own. Furthermore, directly in the document can add notes and graphic elements (arrows, rectangles). In addition, there are standard functions, such as working with bookmarks, presentation mode or auto-saving changes to the document. And most importantly - does not slow down!
On the other hand, there is a reasonable question: "Why do I need all this, if the same can perform standard application view?". I have heard more than once that in the standard application does not have enough work with your existing PDF Reader X tabs, as well as support for versioning of the document, which, unfortunately, deprived of a standard utility.
Download PDF Reader X can be in the Mac App Store (free)
