Journler - your notebook

To create notes, you can use TextEdit. This is a very worthy program, most of the articles I write is in it (Om Malik, incidentally, also prefers TextEdit). This app is great for writing articles. Often, however, requires a bit more - to conduct research, gather opinions, quotes, reviews. It would be nice to have a program where you can not only create texts, but also convenient to store them, right?
For me, this program has become Journler. For non-commercial use it's free. What I liked Journler:
- It is well suited for the creation of texts, as there is built in support for spell checking as you type (including those for the Russian language)
- It allows you to truly easy to store notes and rough material. You can create a normal folder, which scatters documents, virtual folders with selected criteria (Eg, the presence of certain notes, tags, categories, status, edit the date or period of performance and etc.). For myself, I found this style of work: to collect data relating to the article or diploma, assign them labels, determine the document deadlines, etc. Very comfortably.
- Good search as you type, the ability to set filters for the submission of documents (for example, you can do so, that marked a specific label (label) are only visible records.
- Availability of statistics for the documents, including the number of characters (which is not in TextEdit)
In principle, the data that you entered in the log does not necessarily have to be in text form. You can dictate a program of some speech, record a video (if you have a camera), add a photo. However, these features seemed to me useless.
Journler and use at work and at school. I think readers will appreciate the program
