1. Download everything you need in advance
Places with good Wi-Fi on the road are not common, and the mobile Internet is always small, and it is expensive, so it is properly attend to loading the required content in advance. In addition, almost all applications allow you to do this.
Download a Google Maps map of the region where you are going. Open the "Settings» → «Offline maps» → «Choose a card" and select the area on the map, the data that you want to cache.
Do not forget about other applications that may be needed: guides to the sights, the delivery service, a variety of local services.
Note to Apple Music, Google Play Music and other service a few favorite playlists listen to them offline. Download a couple of movies, and download a few episodes of the new series.
2. Turn off content and update notifications
By default, all installed applications update data in the background, downloading new tweets, photos, news and other content. It saves your time while waiting for the download, but spends online and the battery charge. Fortunately, on the contrary the scheme works too.

3. Use traffic savings in applications
Many popular applications have a special traffic saving mode in which the mobile traffic is used for loading master data or not used at all. It is important not to forget to turn it on.
In this mode Snapchat is under settings "Useful Services". On Facebook, you can manage the startup in the "Settings» → «Settings and Privacy» → «Settings» → «Videos and photos." These options have in Instagram, Twitter and many other applications.
4. Turn on the power-saving mode
To save battery power in all modern smart phones are now used by the power save mode, which reduces background activity of applications and services. It automatically turns on when the falls of up to 20% longer battery life. But wait for this moment is not necessary. If you want to maximize the autonomy that include power-saving mode is immediately after charging.
On iOS, this is done through the curtain, "Control Center" or the "Settings» → «Battery». The users of Android-devices need to do swipe down from the top of the screen and click the icon "Energy Saving".
5. Disconnect your smartphone when it is not needed
