People whom we often unjustly forgotten
Relations / / December 19, 2019
The pace of modern life is so intense and overloaded with all sorts of "important things" and "the right things," which often have We weeks "no time" for a minimum of 5 categories of people in the circle of our relations, which need our attention Total. Think about how much time you devote to them - suddenly you can just change a little bit your work schedule to allow more time left on them rather than on another "pile of papers" on your desk?
Parents and relatives of the elderly: Over the years, comes the understanding that people - are transitory, that not only things "are not eternal." In my childhood and adolescence, it seems that parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles will be there for you always, that they will live for a long time and that you "still have time" a good long talk with them, to spend time, but for now we have no time: we have a new exhibition, fashion show, movie trend, an important conference, a new series of the show, in We have plenty of cases - "and with you, I'll talk later." And in general - with them "boring," "they are not authority for me," "important friends" and a dozen more such variants hear from different people from another school benches. In today's culture of communication almost "extinct" concept "letter close / mother," because the "easy call"; but we do not call - "we have no time, maybe over the weekend." Or come once a year. And then, "once a year" is postponed because "the blockage at work now," etc. etc. Once the time you're 25, or 30-35, you want to know more about those thanks to whom you were born - but it turns out that of the 20 people in the family group photo taken a couple of years ago, survived only 5-7 man. Whether or not to postpone "for later" is not the case, and people?
Close-minded people and friends: Oddly enough, but with the phrase "nothing, they understand: they're my friends," we often "stipulated preheat" the wayside meeting with those who can be our greatest source of inspiration and positive changes in our life. Instead, the time spent with them, we spend time on the "very important" job or a hundred routine cases which - if competent planning time - it can be done without detriment to communicate with interesting people for us.
Teachers who have had a positive impact on you: I personally am very sorry that a few years ago was not a professor who taught us in the big university mathematics and the theory of relativity, because it was a man-Person, an experienced teacher and talented mathematician. Regret not productive, but I can not help it: as a student, we were treated to contacts with people like surface (why "Non-IT people" math?), And 5 years after graduation, you realize that many of the approaches and skills you picked up just at such people.
People with whom you were once a good constructive business relationships: Time helps "lost" phone numbers and business cards of people with whom you have worked before. Meanwhile, former colleagues can often be a very interesting and colorful people that should continue to communicate in the future. By the way, at the time I did not care about saving a few contacts from the first few jobs immediately after graduating from university, as a couple of times later regretted. It's not only a pragmatic approach to life (say, "good people will always be useful"), and that the interesting people and monolingual specialists are able to influence your thinking and your ideas even when you are not working in the same office, and on the same project.
"Pioneers" and the authors of all the usual things and projects: History tends to remember only the brightest names and leave "in the shadow" of those who "starts", who made familiar to us all things. Paper, QWERTY-keyboard, headphones, coffee, air conditioning - who first created these things? Millions of people use them every day - and practically no one remembers those specific people who first came up with / release these things. Ask somehow at leisure, not only loud brandsThat "untwisted" dozens of books and high-profile advertising campaigns. I am sure that you did not know how many interesting things you can discover about the world around us and the things people who created them in due time.
