Why do I need to teach others, even if you're not an expert
Forming / / December 19, 2019
I frequent the idea that 90% of people who talk about their experiences and educate others on the Internet, not experts. At the same time, the question arises: who is an expert and how each of us to achieve this grand title, to teach others?
And the main question: is it worth it?
Let's take a concrete example - me. I know how to play the guitar, he graduated from a music school and now eight years affectionately calls his guitar "baby." Several times I have acted on stage and I still love to play and play almost every day. Do not think I'm bragging, just want you to imagine the picture.
Presented? Now answer the question of whether I can consider yourself an expert?
Not.
In a world of thousands of guitarists (maybe tens of thousands), which play better than me, who know about the music more and give her more time. However, at the same time I do not rule out such an option, I can teach others to play the guitar.
Not even so. I would replace the word "teach" to "share knowledge". Why do I feel that I can share knowledge with others, even if my level is rather mediocre? For several reasons.
Someone even your level of interest
There are many people who are above your level. But also a lot of people with a lower level than you. And many of them will be interested to know what you know. So why not share with them their knowledge?
You get better in the process of study
I do not know how to describe it in scientific language, and I'm sure somehow it is possible, but in the process of studying knowledge are placed on the shelves, and not only do you structure the old knowledge, in the process of studying, you can also get new ones. And it will agree, is very, very cool.
Who is an expert?
"Wikipedia" does not give a normal response to this question. Perhaps no one will. What does it take to become an expert? Devote to the case a year, 10 years, 30 years? Nobody knows. Therefore, to respond to comments that "you're not an expert," just not worth it.
You can not become an expert, not by teaching
But if you still think that the concept of "expert" deserves the right to life, you'll be glad to know that you can not become an expert, not by teaching others. From this it follows that you are obliged to share their knowledge with other people, if you believe that you can do them something to convey. It does not matter whether or not you are an expert.
You refresh old knowledge
In the process of learning not only your pupil gets new knowledge - you also remember that what seems to be forgotten for a long time. Old knowledge come to light, and you discover the new in the old.
Each of us has something to say
Each of us has gone through something. Life experience; unsolvable at first glance, the situation. Not necessarily teach specific skills, you can simply pass on their experience to others.
Create your own blog, write on social networks, share your knowledge. There will always be someone who knows something smaller than you. And you have to help him!
