What causes lack of sleep
Health / / December 19, 2019
Research shows that the emotional centers of the brain very badly perceived lack of sleep. This can adversely affect the brain processes such as learning and memory.
Researcher Matthew Walker and his colleagues conducted an experiment in which 26 healthy subjects participated. Some of the volunteers had the opportunity to sleep, while others have been deprived of it for 35 hours. The next day, researchers scanned the brains of participants in that moment, when they were shown various images, the total number was 100. First they were neutral (spoons image or baskets), but became more negative (image shark attack or adder).
As a result, people who have had a lack of sleep, 60% actively respond to negative emotional image. The researchers attribute this to the shutdown of emotions control functions of the prefrontal lobe of the brain.
In today's world, people are drawn off to sleep less and less time, but it has a negative impact on human behavior. Do not forget about it.
Strong and healthy you sleep!
