Booker Prize jury selected 5 best books of the last 50 years

The shortlisted books were recognized as the best in each of the five decades and received the "Booker". Voting takes place on the official website Award.
1. Vidiadhar Naipaul, "The Free State", 1971
V. S. Naipaul - an English writer of Indian origin, a graduate of Oxford University, Bachelor of Arts, winner of the 2001 Nobel Prize for Literature.
