WatchOS 6.1 came with support for older Apple Watch

Apple has released an update watchOS 6.1. It is noteworthy that among the supported devices - all models hours from Series 1. They and Series 2 previously missed update watchOS 6, so that the new firmware will be of interest primarily to owners of these devices - and for those who plan to buy updated TWS-headphones from Apple.

Changes to third-generation and higher are small: the developers have added support AirPods Pro, But otherwise it is a question of correcting minor bugs and improving performance. But for Series 1 and Series 2 finally got a native App Store and other innovations watchOS 6.

Firmware is now available to be installed on all compatible devices. Behind leaving only the original Apple Watch (they are called Series 0). For them, the latest firmware version became watchOS 4.3.2.

Before you upgrade, make sure the watch is left for at least 50% charged. Then open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, click on the tab "My watch," and select "Main» → «Software Update."
