Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy A40 - one of the most balanced and compact smartphone in the lineup. It has a screen diagonal 5.9 inches, but at the expense of the minimum scope size almost identical to the device housing iPhone X: 144.3 × 69.1 × 7.9 mm (A40) versus 143.6 × 70.9 × 7.7 mm.
Novelty Super AMOLED matrix with a resolution of 2280 × 1080 pixels and the recess in the upper portion 25 to the front-megapixel camera. Remarkably, the traditional design of the "chin", that is, thick frame below, is virtually nonexistent.
Inside - eight cores Exynos 7885 with a maximum frequency of 2.2 GHz and graphics accelerator Mali-G71. The volume was 4 GB RAM, built-in memory - 64 GB. There is support for microSD cards.
Main camera with dual sensors 16 and 5 Mn. Second supplemented wide-angle optics. The battery has a capacity of 3100 mAh, provides the function of fast charging via USB Type-C. There is also a standard audio port and NFC.
Powered smartphone based on Android 9.0 with a proprietary shell One UI. In Europe, the Galaxy A40 will cost 249 euros (≈18 200 rubles). It is possible that it will soon appear in Russia.
