Google has released the first beta version of Android Q. For the most part it is intended for developers who need the time to optimize their products to release the system, but it can set all users Pixel smartphones.
Visual innovations are scarce. Chief among them are the appearance of the section "Themes" in the settings for developers, where you can change the accent color, font, headings and text, as well as the form of icons. In addition, it changes the look of wallpaper installation menu, information about the application pages, and many other configuration sections.
As promised, in the Android Q appeared native support foldable displays. Many applications will now be better adapted to work in split-screen mode with a non-standard aspect ratios.
Among other changes, you can select a new API for quick settings telephone, blocking access to the background using the camera and microphone, as well as a number of features to protect user data.
Screenshots, by the way, is now made with real fillets and cut-outs of the screen.
Full name of Android Q, of course, not yet been disclosed. It will be announced with the official release of the system, which is expected in the third quarter of 2019. Up to this point, will another five beta versions of the system, which is still a lot of different change.
