In «Google Maps" will be social networking features

Google plans to improve corporate mapping service, adding in it some functions already closed social network Google+. We are talking about the possibility of following the publication of reviews, photos, ratings and routes other users.

This feature will be implemented by means of the program "Local experts", which has long been promoted by Google. Previously, it only allows to share opinions on the establishments visited, but soon it can help to be to subscribe to all publications of specific users as well as get recommendations.

Everyone will be able to offer a route around the city visiting various places of interest or any other places of interest. Any other user «Google Maps" will be able to go in the path specified by pressing a button "Follow" in a mobile application.

In the near future, these capabilities will be tested in Bangkok, New Delhi, London, Mexico City, New York, Osaka, San Francisco, Sao Paulo and Tokyo. Date of availability of social functions «Google Maps" in other regions has not yet announced, but we can already be pre registration in the "local experts".
