Updated RedmiBook 14 and 16 laptops with Core i5 processors and 120 Hz screens presented

After the announcement of new flagship smartphones Redmi K70, and watch and headphones for them, today Xiaomi showed the latest RedmiBook 14 and 16 (2024) laptops.

In terms of power, these versions are identical: early 2023 Intel Core i5-13500H processor, LPDDR5 RAM.

The 16-inch version has a 2.5K resolution screen with a maximum brightness of 400 nits. The 14-inch model has a higher resolution (2.8K), but lower brightness - 300 nits. Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate.

Both laptops are 15.9mm thick. The 14-inch version weighs 1.37 kg, while the 16-inch version weighs 1.68 kg.

Thanks to the Xiaomi HyperOS Connect ecosystem, the laptop can be used in conjunction with other devices Xiaomi and Redmi: for example, use a HyperOS smartphone as a webcam with higher resolution. Also on the laptop you can run applications from your smartphone, answer calls and messages.

The laptops are already on sale in China. The cost of new products is as follows:

• RedmiBook 14 (2024) 16 + 512 GB - 4,199 yuan (≈52,600 rubles);
• RedmiBook 14 (2024) 16 GB + 1 TB - 4,499 yuan (≈56,400 rubles);
• RedmiBook 16 (2024) 16 + 512 GB - 4,399 yuan (≈55,100 rubles);
• RedmiBook 16 (2024) 16 GB + 1 TB - 4,699 yuan (≈58,900 rubles).

The release of international versions of these laptops has not yet been announced.

Now I live with: 4 Gouramis, 7 Danios, 4 Swordtails, 4 Mollies, 2 Ancitruses, 2 Petsili, 5 Guppies, 5 Rabbit snails and 2 Zebra snails. Once a week I do a water change (drain 20, fill with 20 that have settled for three days). The filter, air and heater, and LED lamp are working. I feed the fish twice a day, a little at a time (they eat it in 5 minutes). They seem to be full, but they still eat algae, although I give them phytofood every day. No one died, thank God, but the water quickly becomes polluted and an odor appears (on the water lid). I don’t know what to do now (I realized my mistakes. But I don’t want to part with the fish, my darlings (Thank you very much!!! I regret that I didn’t see such good advice earlier. I can’t send a photo of my underwater kingdom, it’s a large file.
