The goal of the course is to develop basic understanding of the legal regulation of relations in the field of intellectual property, including the use of digital technologies. The course will examine the institution of intellectual property in Russian law and abroad, the transformation of intellectual property in the digital economy. The lectures will demonstrate the peculiarities of the legal status of the author of the result of intellectual activity, the differences in the legal status of authors and other copyright holders. The course allows students to form a basic understanding of the rights to the results of intellectual activity and equivalent means of individualization. You will learn the differences between individual agreements aimed at disposing of exclusive rights.
