The course “Entrepreneurship in Culture” has important scientific and practical significance.

In addition to fundamental knowledge in the field of cultural studies, it allows students to give practical skills in the field of modern technologies of entrepreneurship in culture and art. This area is experiencing a shortage of specialists in this field.

Program goals:

1. highlight the most relevant, practically significant issues of entrepreneurship in culture at the present stage;

2. present the predominantly philosophical aspect of understanding entrepreneurship as an important tool for the development of national culture, without connecting it only with the process of commercialization;

3. offer experience and methodological recommendations that have proven themselves in the West and are partially used in Russia;

4. show ways of fruitful interaction between culture and business in modern conditions, identifying pain points in this process that are currently being updated in Russia

5. to familiarize with the trends in the development of the sociocultural sphere in developed countries at the present stage.
