I will try to give you as much as possible short and clear instructions for the production of aromatic candles.
You will need:
- wax or paraffin (you can use old candle);
- essential oils of your choice;
- lace;
- a pair of scissors;
- small glass jars, in which will be poured candles;
- bakeware for melting wax;
- special thermometer for measuring the temperature of molten wax (optional);
- a thin wooden stick;
- a tape measure or ruler;
- cutting board;
- a nut to hold the cord.
making
1. Wash and dry the container in which you are going to pour candles. This may be a small glass jar, high cups of different shapes, ceramic or porcelain cup.
2. Cover the work surface with baking paper. Since wax is soft, it can stick to the table and clean it will be quite difficult.
3. Smash wax or old candle bar into small pieces - so they melt faster.
4. Now you need to prepare the wick candle - make a "seed." With this fuse will match the color of the candle, burn slower and easier to install. So, to begin to melt the wax! Pour a small amount of small pieces of wax or paraffin in a bowl and put it in a water bath. When the wax is melted, put the wick to the desired length for 20-30 seconds. Then remove from the bowl with tweezers and place on baking paper. Straighten the wick, and align it with a little ride around the table as if to make a sausage out of plasticine. Leave to dry for 10 minutes.
5. Once the wick is dry, insert it through the nut, which will help keep the lower end at the bottom of the candle. It can be found either in stores for needlework, or borrow from tea candles.

6. Again, heat the wax, add to the remaining pieces and melt. Then add a few drops of your favorite essential oil. You can do mono smells, and you can try a mixture. For example, a few drops of cedar oil, a few drops of eucalyptus and three drops of citrus essential oil. Stir the wax wooden spatula.
7. Remove the wax from the heat. Mold approximately 1/4 of wax in the ovenproof dish.
8. Pour a little wax candle prepared while keeping an eye to fuse all the time was in the middle. Leave to harden for 20-25 minutes minutes. This will help keep the wick in the middle, when the candle will be filled before the end.
9. Heat the remaining wax, pour it into the ovenproof dish and fill it with candles to the end.
10. Carefully screw the wooden stick on top of the remainder of the wick so that the tension was not very strong. Otherwise, you can pull out the nut from the bottom and have to redo everything again. Fix the fuse on a stick and put it on the edge of the candlestick so that the wick remains in the center of the candle.

11. When the candle completely cooled, cut the wick so that the surface remains small over the tail length of about 5 mm.
Cut the tail of the wick after each use candles. This is especially true of candles with glass candle holders, who can burst from overheating if the wick is too long.
