The program is aimed at improving the qualifications of personnel of scientific, educational, research, management and production organizations in areas of application of software and modern technologies of cartography, geoinformatics, for creating problem-oriented geographical information systems, use in research in the field of environmental management and protection, geoecology, environmental management, subsoil use, etc.

- Introducing students to the basics of geoinformatics;
- Students mastering the basic tools for entering and processing data in GIS;
- Acquiring skills in creating cartographic products using GIS software;
