Egor Krivosheya is a senior lecturer at the SKOLKOVO School of Management, head of research at the SKOLKOVO-NES Center for Research on Financial Technologies and Digital Economy. His academic interests focus on an integrated approach to the analysis of sustainable competitive advantage and organizational strategy, including value creation mechanisms and monetization methods. On the practical side, his research is aimed at understanding current phenomena, their effects and applications in areas of retail financial services, especially payments, digital economy and businesses focused on consumer. In his research, Egor tries to find ways to effectively develop and apply these phenomena in companies and society.
Egor's research has been published in leading scientific journals, including Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Business Research and Journal of Promotion Management. The results of his research on the digital economy and retail payments are often cited in national business media such as RBC, Vedomosti, Kommersant and Izvestia.
Egor has also been a reviewer for leading scientific journals and conferences on management, such as the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Banking and Finance, annual conference of the Academy of Management and Academy of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Knowledge, is an active member of Strategic Management Society. As part of his activities at the Center, he published more than 30 practical articles and consultation reports, which were used by organizations and government departments in the field of digital economy and retail payments.m
We will discuss the basic principles of strategy formulation and the role of strategic thinking for leaders, using scenario planning to anticipate risks and opportunities for changes in the external context and structure strategic tools analysis.
We will discuss the internal context of an organization and how to detail it using a business model. In the afternoon, we will evaluate current approaches to strategy as a team and use the approaches and tools in practice to adapt strategy within the simulation. As a result, participants will formulate a systematic understanding of the process of working on the strategy up to its update.
We'll discuss how to implement strategy more effectively and why we sometimes forget about strategic priorities when making decisions. Participants will be able to systematize their approach to decision making and understand how to take into account individual behavioral characteristics when implementing a strategy. We will conclude the discussion by talking about implementing change in an organization and implementing strategy and modern view of flexible strategy as a constant focus of a manager in conditions of permanent changes.
The course is focused on developing the management skills of managers in the IT field and other areas. The course covers practical techniques for developing leadership qualities and skills, such as: confidence, charisma, energy, firmness, ability to worry when you hurt a subordinate, the ability to cope with stress, the ability to manage fears and psychocomplexes, both your own and subordinates. We consider in detail management questions about how to properly punish subordinates, how to work with “stars” and “old-timers,” and how to effectively manage your staff. And let's talk about what role the image of a leader plays in management. As part of the course, we will analyze the mechanisms and laws of power. You will study the principles of forming your own power group, network of informants and agents of influence. We will teach you how to strengthen your power. Let's talk about the correct building of alliances and analyze the technologies of waging corporate wars.
