I graduated from Lipetsk State Pedagogical University in 1995, work as an associate professor at a university and have been teaching English for over 20 years; in 2014 I obtained my Cambridge CPE certificate. I have extensive experience in preparing for international and state exams, I have been trained to assess and have participated in grading Unified State Exam papers. I also teach Business and Legal English. In teaching, I give preference to the cognitive-communicative approach, since in the modern world it is necessary not only to communicate in foreign language, but also develop your cognitive abilities, be able to compare and contrast, have the ability to analyze and synthesis. At the university, I give a course of lectures on methods of teaching foreign languages, I know language teaching technologies well and can select teaching methods that are necessary specifically for you. I communicate a lot with native speakers and can teach you “living” English.

Internship abroad
English took first place in my life back in my school years. Then I could not yet imagine that I would become a translator into English of two books about the nature of our region. Communication with friends from different countries and meetings with native speakers opened up wonderful opportunities for study and internship in European countries and the USA. Every time I acquired knowledge, I felt the need to share it with other people. I fell in love with the English language when I was a school girl. This foreign language opened a completely new world for me. I started to communicate with people from different countries and some years later I got a wonderful opportunity to study and practice my English at the university level in Europe and in the US. With every course completed, my urge to share the valuable knowledge grew stronger. After graduating from the Pedagogical University with a degree in Philology in 1999, I began teaching future philologists at my native university. Since my second year I have been working with foreigners as a guide-translator and constantly communicate in English with native speakers. Among my achievements, I would like to note the translation of two books and a successful internship on methods of teaching English in one of the schools in Finland. In my lessons, I especially value moments of joint creativity with students and with great joy I create new courses and projects, taking into account the interests of a particular student. I consider my main task to be the development of spoken language in my students, so I pay special attention to communication in English.
