The program is aimed at students in grades 3–11 mastering classical methods of field ecology and introducing them to research activities in the direction of a comprehensive study of ecosystems.

Time and place of classes: classes are held at the Zvenigorod Biological Station. The schedule of arrivals provides for the acceptance of groups both on weekends and on school days (from one to five days).

Invited: any educational institutions of the city are invited to participate in the work of the “School of Field Ecology”. Moscow and Moscow region. The curriculum is aimed at mastering by students of grades 3–11 classical field methods ecology and their involvement in research activities in the direction of comprehensive study ecosystems

School participants who successfully pass the test or complete educational research receive a certificate of completion of the corresponding section of the program.

Program summary

The program includes two blocks: zoology and botany.

Each of these blocks involves work at three levels of complexity: familiarization (familiarization with objects), mastering methods of field and laboratory research, and educational research.

At your choice of school, you can combine material from both blocks at any level of difficulty.

At the same time, the biological station can accommodate a group of up to 70 people, including accompanying teachers.

Participants of the race are provided with a comfortable heated dormitory, laboratory facilities, equipment, educational collections and literature.

Classes with schoolchildren are conducted by teachers from Moscow University.
