You are trying to download the application from the App Store, but the boot process is stopped permanently? Or maybe you have finished restoring from iCloud backup and it seems that downloading apps is an eternity and never end? Such errors when downloading apps periodically happen like on the iPhone, and on iPad. However, their solutions have a number of ways and in this article I will tell you about them.
1. Check your network connection
Before embarking on further search, check the performance of your internet connection. The easiest way to do this - check it in other applications. For example, open any page in Safari or send a message in iMessage.
If the problem really is connected to a network, once it is restored, the application download will continue from the point at which it stopped. If other applications are functioning properly - go to the second method.
2. restart downloading
Sometimes users accidentally click on the icon have not downloaded an application and it stops. It is very easy to understand, since the signature icon will mean the status of "Pause". Just click on the icon again to start the download again. And even if the download was not suspended, but simply hung - a restart can help and the application download will continue.
If anything does not tap on the icon, wait for a while, and then repeat. If the result is not present - go to the next method.
3. Restart your iOS-device
Restart can help to correct many errors, including failure load applications. Simply press and hold the button Home and a button Power. As soon as the logo appears, release both buttons wait until your iPhone or iPad will turn on and check the boot hung.
If your application has proceeded - all good - if not, return to the App Store to download the app and try again. If it freezes again - go to the next method.
4. Try to remove and reinstall the app
Sometimes it can help removing even unloaded the application and restart the download. If after you restart the application has not been cleaned - try to remove it manually. To do this, tap on the icon while holding until they start to wiggle, click the "X" in the upper left corner of the app icons stuck and confirm the deletion.
If you remove the app - try to reinstall it. If nothing happened, and still remains an icon on the screen - move on to the next step.
5. Download the other application
I do not know why, but sometimes different from the App Store application download may help to "shake up" stuck application. Attempt - not torture, so try to download any application. It can be any free application or one of your previously purchased. Wait a bit to check the result, and if it does not help - go to the next step.
6. Get out of your account, and then restart iTunes iOS-device
If all else fails, try to log out from your iTunes account. This should stop the started downloading of any content on your iPhone or iPad. Further, it is desirable to restart the device before proceeding to re-download the application procedure. Exit from your iTunes account is quite simple:
- Open the App Store tab selection.
- Scroll to the bottom and click on the button with your Apple ID.
- In the pop-up menu, select Go out.
7. Sync your iOS-device with iTunes
Even if you are using a backup iCloud, you can still sync your iPhone or iPad with iTunes. Sometimes the synchronization and transfer of your purchases can help with the problem of stalled downloads. Simply connect your iOS-device to your computer with iTunes and sync it as you normally would when you transfer music or movies. Wait until the process is finished and check there whether on the iPhone or iPad home screen applications that you can not download from the App Store.
8. Just wait
Sometimes hang downloads can be caused by changes to the server App Store. Perhaps you tried to download an application just at the moment when it updated. This happens very rarely, but, nevertheless, this could be. Go back to the application after some time and check if it will not boot.
