Purpose of the program – present the Russian language not as a native or well-known one, but “from the outside,” i.e. give students the opportunity to look at the Russian language through the eyes of a foreigner. This vision of the subject helps students understand the specifics of the Russian language against the background of other languages, and identify the difficulties of Russian phonetics and grammar, acquire the ability to economically and accurately explain the most difficult (from a learning point of view) language phenomena.
1) In the course of classes, students must gain theoretical knowledge about the specifics of the Russian language as a subject of teaching;
3) gain practical skills in planning and conducting RCT classes.

Program content:
The program is designed for 108 academic hours. In accordance with the objectives, the course “Teaching RFL” has a three-part structure:
1. Linguistic foundations of teaching RFL - lectures/seminars, 30 hours, test.
2. Fundamentals of methods of teaching RFL - lectures/seminars, 38 hours, exam.
3. Pedagogical practice in groups of foreign students - seminars, 40 hours.
