About the course
The purpose of the training course is to systematize and improve students’ knowledge of the Russian language as a foreign language, as well as in increasing the level of language, speech, subject and communicative competencies.
Particular attention in this course is paid to the difficulties that students encounter in the process of studying such sections of the Russian language as phonetics, lexicology, grammar, etc.
The main objectives of the course are to correct the pronunciation of Russian sounds and intonation structures, to expand vocabulary (especially terminology) of students, increase the level of Russian grammar language.
The course is intended for foreign students of all areas of training.
Format
The form of training is correspondence (distance learning).
Weekly classes include watching video lectures and completing test tasks with automated checking of results.
The course ends with a final assessment in the form of a test. The final assessment of learning outcomes is formed on the basis of data from final testing and weekly monitoring.

Requirements
The course is general education and is designed for a wide audience of students.
The required level of Russian language proficiency is not lower than I certification level (B1).
Learning outcomes
The result of mastering the course program is the formation in students of the ability to achieve certain goals communications in various areas of communication, use various stylistic means appropriate to the situation communication.
