According to a study by the website Podcast.ru, in the month from August 24 to September 24, 366 podcasts were created, that is, on average, 12 new projects appear per day. Accordingly, 75% of them are private projects, followed by projects of brands - 11%, government agencies and radio stations - 4% each.
The study's authors suggest that the number of podcasts on the market is growing by more than 30% per year. If there are now 13 thousand projects in Russia, then by 2026 there could be about 35 thousand. According to IAB Russia forecasts, in four years the podcast audience in Russia will increase to 18 million people.
