Corel has been releasing new versions of Pinnacle Studio for many years. Widely known and deservedly popular among video enthusiasts of various levels, this program for editing and processing video materials has always been distinguished by a friendly interface, large a number of training materials, bright and witty templates, thanks to which learning the program was a pleasure even for completely inexperienced users, and any problem was solved easily.
The new version of the Pinnacle Studio 23 program retains all the best solutions of previous versions, but there is one significant difference: the program has expanded its capabilities to a professional level. In other words, it has a whole series of new functions that take the films you create to a completely different level, turning your home computer into a full-fledged video studio capable of importing video materials from external sources (connected cameras and video players), processing them effectively (with using the principles of multi-camera editing, an unlimited number of tracks, time slowdown/acceleration effects, speech recognition in audio tracks, automatic processing of green and creating a transparent background, and others), and output to various formats, including the most progressive, such like H.265 and VR 360°.
In our course you will learn how to correct shooting flaws, cut out unsuccessful scenes, adjust the color balance and lighting of scenes, add transitions, titles (regular and animated inscriptions, creeping line, closing credits) and colorful artistic video effects. You will be able to get an idea of all the new and powerful features of the program in a compact, rationally structured course with a large number of practical examples and work performed.

Module 1. Basics of video editing (4 ac. h.)
- Program interface. Features of the new interface version 23. Version difference.
- Hardware requirements for installing and using the program. Basic concepts: video formats and video standards, choosing a project format.
- Import and organize project files in the library. Import video and audio from external sources.
- Possibilities for organizing and searching for materials.
- Quickly and easily create a clip based on SmartMovie technology.
- Basic actions with the film: breaking into scenes, selecting scenes, gluing the film, adding transitions, simple effects, editing fragments, outputting to a file.
- Independent work.
Module 2. Building effective installation work: basic tools, functions, techniques. (4 ac. h.)
- Adding titles to the film: full-frame opening titles, regular and animated captions, creeping line and closing titles.
- Creation of slideshows and animated films based on photographs with sound and in combination with video materials.
- Use of transitions and editing themes. Classification, application and customization.
- Using masks for correction and overlay.
- Independent work.
Module 3. Advanced features and special effects (4 ac. h.)
- Working with an audio track: removing the original sound, adjusting the volume; adding sound effects and background music from Pinnacle content; principles of recording narration for a film; - elimination of noise in audio recordings.
