GRAPHIC DESIGNER IS A UNIVERSAL SPECIALIST.

1 BLOCK | 2.5 MONTHS
Preparation for the profession
Course: Adobe Photoshop. We will learn how to work with the most popular graphic editor: from getting to know the interface and tools to creating the first poster and landing page layouts.
Course: Adobe Illustrator. Let's master the main tool for vector graphics, which allows you to create everything from icons to websites. You will learn how to layout multi-page presentations with infographics and prepare layouts for placement.
Course: Figma. Let's study a popular online editor for creating the design of websites and applications that will interact with the user. Share projects and collaborate without leaving your browser window.
Course: Fundamentals of Design. You will become familiar with the basic principles and concepts of design that underlie any image and layout, be it a one-page landing page, graphics for brand communication or multi-screen mobile application. All theoretical topics will be reinforced with practical assignments. In parallel with completing the course and studying the theory, you will create your own website and redesign the website of a transport company, where you will use all the basic knowledge acquired.
2 BLOCK | 3 MONTHS
Basics of the profession
Course: Graphic Design
A graphic designer must be able to work in both digital and print media. Be creative and know production technologies. You'll go through course modules that will allow you to diversify these skills and expand your portfolio with urban advertising layouts, landing pages, packaging design and corporate identity. As a result of this professional graphic design course for beginners, you will be able to better understand what direction you want to go deeper into and choose it in the next block.
3 BLOCK | 3 MONTHS
Specialization
Optional course: Identity. You will learn in practice all stages of creating an identity from a creative idea and brand strategy to presenting the solution to the customer. Add to your portfolio a full-fledged brand book with printed and digital media based on the client’s real brief. Learn to express the character and values of a brand using visual identity, develop the design of a YouTube channel and related social networks, think over merch and website design. You will learn that identity can not only be seen, and you will work with animation, and also immerse yourself in the intricacies of working in a team.
Optional course: Packaging design. In this course, you will create a full-fledged product line with a variety of packaging based on a real client brief. Learn to analyze competitors, develop concepts, think through the main characters on which the idea of a product line is based, and also create animation. You'll be able to compose complex, multi-dimensional compositions in 3D that will take your project presentation to the next level.
Optional course: Promotional website design. Create a full-fledged promotional landing page based on a real client brief: from collecting analytical data to layout of screens and animation of content. You will learn how to test, study the market and competitors, and create your own prototype of your landing page. Learn how to create effective landing pages from the design and marketing side, animate elements and adapt page design to any format. Among other things, you will move to an advanced level of using Figma.
Pre-diploma preparation and defense of the project. Test yourself in battle - we will give you a brief from a real client and time to work. While working on the task, our mentors will help with complex issues, and your task, to complete the work on time, is waiting for the client. During your defense, you will receive feedback on your graduation project and, based on the results of your work, you can get an interview with the client’s company.
4 BLOCK | 1 MONTH
Career development
Course: Portfolio, freelancing, management. You will learn how to create your own professional portfolio, look for clients and present your work. You will learn how to organize a work process, find a common language with the customer, process comments and, ultimately, get a result that will satisfy all participants in the process.
