The course is addressed to students who are interested in creating video content for massive open online courses, but are not specialists in the field of film and video production. The course structure follows the production stages that video content goes through during the production cycle. The course examines the general principles of creating video materials, as well as the narrower specifics of creating the most common genre forms used in the field of MOOCs. The proposed knowledge is focused on subsequent practical application in independent work in the production of video content. In addition, some issues of dramaturgy, composition, basics of editing, behavior in front of the camera and features of holding the viewer’s attention using methods available to audiovisual work. Errors and problems that arise for developers who are faced with a similar task for the first time are analyzed.
