Introduction. Goals and objectives of landscaping in a modern metropolis (city, settlement). Composition and types of landscaping. New landscaping (repair), maintenance and care. Regulatory and legal framework for the improvement of courtyards and park areas.
Section 1. Pre-project analysis of the territory for the purpose of its engineering preparation and improvement
1.1 Selection of a site and its planning, taking into account the purpose, natural and social factors. Pre-project analysis of the territory: analysis of the geological basis and technical reports, loads. Justification of the composition of measures to prepare the territory for landscaping purposes in different positions of the landscape. Characteristics of the relief: types of relief, relief elements, exposure, slope steepness, slope values, insolation, watershed lines, thalweg lines, dimensions and boundaries of landscape forms, drainage area.
1.2 Analysis of technical reports (description of engineering-geological layers) compiled based on the results of engineering-geological and engineering-hydrogeological drilling. Determination of rock types and soil granulometric composition.
1.3 Based on the results of the pre-project analysis, compilation of a soil engineering map-scheme in order to identify groups of landscapes by degree the need for soil and landscape engineering activities, choosing the right design solution, determining the possibility of performing technical tasks.
