You will become familiar with the Unity interface and the main functions of the engine: you will learn how to create game mechanics and draft geometry, as well as connect 3D models from the library and paint scenes.
At the end of the block, you will have your own casual game and the knowledge you need to start learning.

Preparatory block [creation of hyper-casual games]

Game design [ 4 months ]
You will find out who a game designer is and what his role is in the team.
You will understand why prototyping is needed, you will start working in UE4, and you will also learn how to animate, use artificial intelligence to create realistic combat, think through weapons and work in team.

Narrative design [ 3 months ]
You will find out why a narrative designer needs the basics of dramaturgy, how narratives influence each other, design systems and mechanics, how level design will help reveal your story and what the characters’ functions are in stories and gameplay.

You will also learn how to create quest and dialogue systems and communicate correctly with teammates.

Level design [8 months]
You will learn how to create intuitive navigation without an interface or hints.
You will learn what a mental map is: why it is needed and how to guide the player to the desired gaming experience.
You will draw up a level document for a stealth shooter and understand the light settings.
