Netflix showed the first footage of the series “The Gentlemen” by Guy Ritchie

The streaming service Netflix has published the first footage of the spin-off series The Gentlemen film of the same name Guy Ritchie 2019. In the footage you can see the main characters.

The series stars Theo James (“White Lotus”), Giancarlo Esposito (“Breaking Bad”), Kaya Scodelario (“Pirates of the Caribbean”) Seas: Dead Men Tell No Tales"), Vinnie Jones ("Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels"), Joely Richardson ("Nip/Tuck") and other.

The series “The Gentlemen” will receive eight episodes, some of which will be directed by Guy Ritchie himself. Working with him on the project are David Caffrey (“Peaky Blinders”) and Nima Nourizadeh (“Gangs of London”).

The plot will focus on the story of Eddie Halstead (Theo James), the son of an English aristocrat, who learns that his inheritance is connected to the drug empire of Mickey Pearson (Matthew McConaughey). However, actors from the original film will not appear in the series.

The premiere of “The Gentlemen” is scheduled for 2024. There is no exact date yet.
