Andrzej Sapkowski revealed when the new Witcher book will be released

At the Comic-Con festival in Vienna, Andrzej Sapkowski was a special guest. He told about how he writes his books, and did not forget to mention the new part of the Witcher saga, about which told in summer.

Sapkowski said that the book will be published in Polish at the end of 2024, and in other languages ​​will appear a few months later - at the beginning of 2025. Whether there will be an official translation into Russian is still unknown.

Nothing is known about the plot yet, but the writer previously stated that he was not going to continue the story after the ending of “The Lady of the Lake.” Most likely, the new book will be a prequel or spin-off of an existing book series.

There is a possibility that one of many announced CD Projekt RED games in The Witcher series will take the plot of the new book as a basis - or at least use new information in quests or lore. But there has been no confirmation of this yet: we can only wait.
