Yandex presented the Duo Max Station - a smart speaker with a rotating screen

At the YaC 2023 conference, Yandex showed the Duo Max Station, its first speaker with a screen, which will become the flagship model of the new line. Unlike regular “Stations”, the new product allows you to interact with “Alice” through the display: see her answers and give commands in text.

In standby mode, the display shows the time, weather and active reminders. The screen itself is rotatable and touch-sensitive: it can be configured to view different types of content. The device remains a speaker, so no external sound is needed: a combination of speakers and a subwoofer is used for clear sound.

Like other modern speakers from the manufacturer, the Duo Max Station supports the Zigbee protocol and can control a smart home without the Internet. The presence of a front camera hints at the possibility of video calls, but there are no official details yet.

The price has not yet been disclosed, pre-orders start on November 28. Then they will talk about the technical characteristics of the gadget.
