Xiaomi has released an inexpensive projector with 500 lumens brightness and 1080p resolution

Xiaomi presented compact projector Projector Youth Edition 2S. The new product runs on the Amlogic T982 chip, complemented by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory.

The device offers 500 lumens of brightness and 1080p resolution, and is also compatible with 4K content. There is support for HDR 10+. The projection ratio is 1.2:1.

Built-in tools based on artificial intelligence are responsible for picture quality. In addition, the image can be optimized using autofocus and keystone correction. Blue light eye protection is also on board.

Sound is transmitted through two 5 W speakers. They are compatible with Dolby Audio. Connectivity options include HDMI, USB 3.0 and a standard headphone jack. Plus, there is support for Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz/5 GHz and Bluetooth 5.0. The function of transferring content from a smartphone is also in place. The projector is connected to the Mijia ecosystem and supports connection with a smart home.

Xiaomi Projector Youth Edition 2S is already available for pre-order in China. They are asking 2,400 yuan (≈30,000 rubles) for it.
