The series finally features USB-C and 18W charging.
Poco announced inexpensive smartphone C65 - the successor C55, released in the spring. It gets a higher refresh rate screen, improved cameras, and faster charging.
The 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 processor is responsible for performance. The display here is a 6.74-inch IPS with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a peak brightness of 600 nits. The notch on top houses an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, an upgrade from the 5-megapixel on the C55. It can simulate a soft ring light so you can take beautiful selfies even in the dark.
On the rear panel there remains a 50 MP (f/1.8) camera, as in the Poco C55, but now it is complemented not by a depth sensor, but by a 2 MP macro module.
The 5,000 mAh battery supports 18W fast charging via USB-C (although the included power supply only outputs 10W). The previous model was charged via microUSB and only supported 10W.
The smartphone retains a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The fingerprint scanner is capacitive, it is built into the power button.
Poco C65 was priced at $109 for the 6/128 GB version, the 8/256 GB model costs $129 at the start. This is approximately 10,100 and 11,900 rubles, respectively. The new product will not come in the standard Poco yellow color: only black, blue-green and purple colors are available.
